STRESZCZENIE

W artykule przedstawiono wskaźnik samooceny stanu zdrowia (Self-Rated Health – SRH) jako właściwą subiektywną miarę zdrowia populacji. Miara ta jest szeroko stosowana w badaniach społecznych do oceny stanu zdrowia i nierówności w stanie zdrowia. Autor dokonał przeglądu badań z ostatnich 20 lat i stwierdził, że zastosowane narzędzie jest właściwą miarą oceny stanu zdrowia i dobrym predykatorem śmiertelności. W artykule przeanalizowano wpływ niektórych determinant wynikających z SRH dla osób w wieku 25 lat i więcej w Polsce na podstawie danych pochodzących z badania zdrowia z 1996 i 2004 r. Zbadano trzy grupy czynników: warunki społeczno-ekonomiczne, sytuację rodzinną i styl życia jednostek. Do oceny wpływu analizowanych czynników na negatywną ocenę stanu zdrowia wykorzystano analizę regresji logistycznej. Dodatkowo obliczono wskaźnik ryzyka populacyjnego (population attributable risk indicator – PAR) do oceny względnego wpływu analizowanych czynników na poprawę stanu zdrowia populacji.
